I started looking for a replacement and luckily found the same kind of blanket made by Carters. I knew they made them but believe it or not, I had a hard time finding one. Of course, now I see them everywhere. Thankfully, she took the trade off well. After we lost (and found) her blanky in Michael's one day, I decided we needed to get another one. She won't sleep without a blanky so if we only had one and it got lost for good, we'd be in trouble!! To my surprise, I found a blanky in the bottom of her toy box one day when I cleaned it out. She got the blanky in her stocking for her first Christmas and it says "Baby's First Christmas" on it and it has a polar bear head. She just got this blanky for Christmas this year from my Granny.

It has her name and birthdate embroidered on it. So she now has 3 blankies so we're safe if one ever goes missing. Hopefully they don't but just in case, we're good ;)
She was sitting on my lap this morning with her blanky and binky. I've been wanting pictures of her with her blanky and binky for a long time, but each time I catch her with them, my camera is never close by. Today, I was lucky and my cell phone was within reach so I grabbed it. I'm so glad it was nearby b/c I love these pics!! She plays with the tags on her blankies, like this.

So very cute! I was having major problems with my son's binky use; well actually it was more along the lines of a binky addiction!! My friend absolutely raved about the cut method, and all of the psychology behind it. She found it on www.bye-bye-binky.com , which is great that it was also free. We went with it and OMGosh... worked so beautifully for my son with NO tantrums, not even one! Thank you God. Five days later he did not want anything to do with his binky. What a relief it was to all of us to finally be done with those darn binkies. Highly recommended! I am also interested in others experiences.... Bella
